01

Acceptance

By purchasing, installing, accessing or using Stew-Bot Race Control, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you act for a Discord server, league, organisation or business, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent and supervision required by law to enter this agreement.

02

The service

Stew-Bot provides race-incident reporting, steward workflows, penalty and licence-point records, appeals, carry-over tracking, briefings, exports and related administration through a Discord bot, subscription tools and associated hosted systems.

Discord and Stripe are independent services. Their availability and rules may affect Stew-Bot. Features may be improved, replaced or discontinued, with reasonable notice of a material reduction to paid functionality where practical.

03

Subscription and trial

  • A new eligible Discord server receives one 7-day trial unless stated otherwise.
  • Paid access is licensed to one Discord server per subscription.
  • Current launch pricing is A$29.95 per month or A$299 per year unless checkout states a different price.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Stripe processes payments; Stew-Bot does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
  • A failed renewal may receive a three-day grace period while Stripe retries payment.
  • The server owner or a member with Manage Server permission may manage billing.
04

Cancellation

You may cancel through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Removing the bot from Discord does not itself cancel billing.

05

Refunds and consumer law

The Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.

06

Licence and permitted use

While the applicable trial or subscription is active, Wade Georgeson grants the subscribing organisation a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the hosted service for its own race administration.

No source-code licence, ownership interest, resale right, sublicence or right to create a competing derivative service is granted. The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.

07

Customer content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of incident descriptions, evidence links, league configurations, steward decisions, driver records and other content submitted to the service. You grant a limited licence to host, process, back up, display and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve Stew-Bot.

You are responsible for required permissions, Discord roles and channels, competition decisions, accurate billing details and exporting records that must be retained.

08

Intellectual property and feedback

Stew-Bot Race Control, its source code, workflows, documentation, branding, designs and related intellectual property are owned by Wade Georgeson or his licensors. Original code, text, artwork and other expression are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Feedback may be used without restriction or payment, while you retain ownership of identified pre-existing material.

09

Confidentiality

Source code, non-public architecture, security information, credentials, unreleased features, private pricing arrangements and material reasonably understood as confidential must be protected and used only for the authorised purpose. This does not cover information lawfully public, independently developed or received without a confidentiality obligation.

10

Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for non-payment, security risk, unlawful use, material breach, harm to the service or others, or a Discord or Stripe platform restriction. Where practical, notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy a remediable breach will be provided.

On termination, the right to use Stew-Bot ends. Clauses concerning fees due, intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy, liability, disputes and provisions intended to survive continue.

11

Availability, support and changes

A reliable service is the goal, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not promised. Maintenance, internet outages, Discord or Stripe incidents and events outside reasonable control may interrupt access. No service-level agreement applies unless agreed in writing.

12

Warranties and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stew-Bot is supplied without warranties beyond those expressly stated and those that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunity, loss of goodwill, or loss caused by the other party's systems or instructions. Where liability may lawfully be limited, aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify Wade Georgeson against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from unlawful customer content, unauthorised use or a material breach of these Terms, except to the extent the loss was caused by the provider.

14

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Customers must not use Stew-Bot to collect more personal information than reasonably needed for race administration.

15

General

You may not assign this agreement without written consent. The provider may assign it as part of a restructure, sale or transfer of Stew-Bot, subject to applicable law.

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, it will be read down or severed without affecting the remainder. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. These Terms and referenced policies are the entire agreement unless a separate signed agreement applies.

These Terms may be updated with a revised date and reasonable notice of material changes. They are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia, subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction.
